m3gan | Pop Singer-Songwriter
I launched my pop music career back in 2022. This website serves as the official, unfiltered archive for my independent songwriting, studio logs, and track releases. As the original m3gan—established months before the doll movie—this platform is where I document my real creative process and take back control of my brand.
Instead of relying on third-party social media algorithms, I document my entire journey as an independent artist right here under one roof. You can explore the core sections of my platform below:
Behind the Songs
Timelines, Studio Logs, and Breakdown Stories
This section documents the actual studio history and tracking timelines behind my song releases.
I have to start with my 2022 debut Dreams cover song. This track is critical not because it was my first ever release, but because its launch on February 28, 2022, officially timestamps my stage name—months before the doll movie had its premiere on December 7, 2022, and used my name without my consent.
I am taking back my brand. I will be addressing the fake AI artists who put "(feat. m3gan)" in their songs. I have never given anyone consent to use my name, and this is where I set the record straight.
Songwriting Tips
Notes, Workflows, and Hooks
This section serves as a direct notebook, containing the steps and lyrical structures I use when songwriting.
When writing songs I concentrate on the storytelling side first. Then I start to remove, and format the lyrics to form the song structure. I map out the intro, verses, pre-chorus, chorus, drops, hooks, bridges, interludes and finally the outro.
Everything here is stripped of generic, textbook advice. These are my real workflow logs detailing how I arrange my vocal layers, and introduce the musical aspect.
Playlists
Curated Pop Playlists & Mood Combinations
Playlists are crucial for independent artists because they give new releases instant traction. Instead of waiting for slow organic reach, getting a new track placed on the right playlist pushes it directly to active listeners the moment it drops, building immediate streaming momentum.
